What do we think of Liesha? Lacey? Libby? Lainey? Taree? Brooke Marie?

Leisha. I like it.

janeite · 01/11/2008 15:01

I really like Lacey and Libby. Really, really dislike the others though, sorry.

Bumperlicious · 01/11/2008 15:03

Don't like any of them I'm afraid. Sorry! Maybe Libby, as short for Elizabeth.

mamalovesmojitos · 01/11/2008 15:05

is it pronounced lee-sha? don't like the spelling but love the irish name laoise which is pronounced the same way.

libby is lovely, dislike the others a lot.

DoubleToilandTroubleBluff · 01/11/2008 15:08

Dont like any of them

RagingHormone · 01/11/2008 15:08

Ooo I love that spelling!!! I would definately spell it like that. My baby name book only spells it the way i put.

Does anyone know how to say Roisin? That's Irish isn't it?

OP posts:
dinkymum · 01/11/2008 15:15

I think from your list i'd go with Libby.

DoubleToilandTroubleBluff · 01/11/2008 15:16

Rowsheen - is a lovley name

RagingHormone · 01/11/2008 15:17

I do like that actually. What other nice Irish names are there? I like Eoghan

OP posts:
Sazisi · 01/11/2008 15:21

DD2's Roisin

Naoise is nice too.

I think Liesha sounds like Lisa with a speech impediment..

mamalovesmojitos · 01/11/2008 15:25

oooh yes its lovely isn't it? i think it means radiant or something similar.

MrsMattie · 01/11/2008 15:27

Libby's cute. The rest sound like the cast of 90210.

RachieB · 01/11/2008 15:36

I like Brooke and Lacey is ok too

Libby, short for Elizabeth, is fine - others are very chavvy

Sazisi · 01/11/2008 16:00

Quite like Lainey, pet version of Elaine

Sparkletastic · 01/11/2008 16:04

All very common-sounding apart from Libby but obviously only as a pet-name for Elizabeth.

I am a total snob though

brimfull · 01/11/2008 16:05

Lainey
Marie
both nice

the rest nah, although Libby is nice but it's elizabeth

RagingHormone · 02/11/2008 11:08

I'm not a chav and I don't think Libby or Brooke are the least bit chavvy. I hate it when people refer to names they wouldn't chose as chavvy. I don't like Elizabeth. I like Libby.

OP posts:
Nancy66 · 02/11/2008 12:11

Probably best not to ask for opinions then.

Sorry, bar Libby, all the names you have chosen are pretty chavtastic.

CuppaTeaJanice · 02/11/2008 12:13

Liesha makes me think of that Craig from the first Big Brother trying to say Lisa!

Libby is the best of your choices but I'd put Elizabeth on her birth certificate.

RagingHormone · 02/11/2008 12:18

Nancy- No they're not.

OP posts:
Nancy66 · 02/11/2008 12:24

It's a matter of opinion - you don't think they're chav and I do - but they're your choices so go with what you want.

southeastalien · 02/11/2008 12:26

god i hate the way 'chav' is rolled out here.

lisa is probably a nicer way to spell it though.
