I think if it's the name you have gone for it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks.

You might hate the names I've gone for too but that's ok, cos they are my kids {smile]

Bracken is nice and in a few years we may be tripping over them, but i still think of it as a puppys name.
Willow is nice.

Willow's lovely, it was on my short list but I thought if she has my short fat dumpy legs, it will be the most ridiculous name! Bracken, I'm afraid, I don't like. My first dog (a great big beagle) was called Bracken which was OK, but for a little girl? No, sorry.

Actually, I think I'm with moyasmum - I might warm to the name Bracken if there was a different middle name. It sounds like Broken Willow to me, which is a bit Native American

willow is nice but bracken just reminds me of something dogs piss up when you take them a walk in the woods

I know 3 Brackens - an English Spaniel, a pony and a tortoiseshell cat. It suits all three of them perfectly.

Bracken - invasive, smothering species with carcinogenic properties that is a bugger to get rid of..... So, not really a name I'd go for personally.

tbh if you like Bracken and this isn't a wind up, I think a les woody name as a second name would be more complimentary,

Bracken is a bit harsh sounding. It's the ACK noise with the BR, not very feminine, like nACKered and CACK and RACK and HACKED OFF and LACKING IN TACT.

Willow is pretty. Willow rhymes with pillow and billow. You don't really need to know that, but I pointed it out anyway.
