Dh reckons it's his turn to choose, and wants Aneurin. (3 guesses of his political persuasion!)

Is it: Too obscure? daft as we are not Welsh? Doomed to be always mis-spelt and mis-pronounced?

Not sure I can make the leap of faith.

motherinferior, you realise I am now practically frothing at the mouth to know what your real and unusual name is! Is it actually motherinferior? Now there's a thought.....

I once met a lady called Venus. She did, however, call herself Wendy. Imagine the rhyming bullying at school!

CAT me, sweetie - I can't CAT you - and I'll tell you: it's hardly a huge secret, just unusual!

choccyp1g · 20/10/2008 10:34

Could you persuade him to go for Bevin or Bevan instead?

seeker · 20/10/2008 10:39

Only if you're Welsh, live in Wales and don't intend your ds ever to leave Wales!

Have you suggested Kier?

2Helenback · 20/10/2008 14:22

Kier is too like Kieran, which is vv popular here. I also teach a lot of obnoxious ones. I am struggling as job rules out so many nice names with utter horrors attached to them.

Motherinferior CAT? Whassat?

Choccyp1g, shortened to Bev? Boy named Sue territory.

Oh bother, I thought I was SO clever to think of Kier!
