Whats the thoughts on Austin ?

What does everone think of this name as I cant make up my mind. Goes really well with my surname

We couldn't ever use it as everyone would think we'd named our DS after Austin Healey!

I know a very cute baby Austin, named for Steve Austin.

Actually my Dhs grandfather is an Austin.
With his middle name I always thought he sounded like a make of vintage car.

FWIW he called himself Bill his whole life

I really like it and have thought about it for this one if it is a boy. I'm just not sure if it goes with our last name. But not chavvy AT ALL - IMHO!

DH said the only way we can use Austin is if we use Danger as his middle name .

My 14 yr old DS is Austin.

In DS's 14 years he has only ever had a bit of mild teasing about Austin Powers. Could be worse, eh?

Just a thought - could spell it Austen rather than Austin? We did that to avoid the Powers association, more like Jane Austen !

Not a typo, it's spelt with the e on the end.

We have an Austin in our family and it really suits him, its an old family name.

Word association = Maxi

But if you have no connections to 1970s functional hatchbacks, then no probs.
