Names for a baby girl - help!

Hi

We are expecting our second child in November and need some assistance on names.

We are both decided on Edward for a boy but for a girl we have the following ideas:

Sophie
Harriet (Hattie or Harrie)
Josephine (Josie)

I really like Kate for a middle name but am open to ideas here too!

Our surname is Middle and our little boys name is Charles (Charlie)

Opinions welcome!

They're all fine choices but I like Josephine best It's lovely and quite underused.

Josie and Charlie sound good together

you like you royal names, don't you?

castille · 30/09/2008 11:08

Avoid too many royal names together

Charles - Edward - Sophie - Kate...

For that reason I'd go for Harriet of those you suggest

BabyBaby123 · 30/09/2008 11:11

and your second name is Middle totally random thought but Kate Middleton....

go for something un royal related or you are going to look like a royal nut!!

Josephine is ace

TheOldestCat · 02/10/2008 21:11

Agree with MrsB - Josephine / Josie is ace (am biased tho!). Harriet and Sophie are also lovely, but Kate and Middle also made me think of the future king's intended...

Hosephine is such a beautyful nmae, but also like Sophie

LaDiDaDi · 02/10/2008 21:39

I love Harriet but I think that Hattie Middle sounds awful tbh.

I would go with Josephine.

nobodysfool · 02/10/2008 21:42

Sod it and go patriotic (sp?) and call her Elizabeth.

Mylittlebubble · 02/10/2008 21:46

I was only saying other day I like Josephine, gorgeous name x

FreakyLadyFrightALot · 02/10/2008 21:59

funkydude · 03/10/2008 12:54
