Middle names to go with Mirabelle

This is DH's favourite girl's name at the moment, but we can't seem to find a middle name that goes well with it and our surname (except for Rose, but that seems to be a default name - and it reminds me of Rose West).

Surname is two syllables, so middle name would need to be one or two syllables to flow properly.

Suggestions?? Mirabelle......

Can't use Grace as it's DD's middle name.

what about the more 'unpopular' middle names such as Louise, Jane, Anne, Claire, Sarah ?

those are popular, just with a different generation

I like Sarah as I it was my grandmother's name. But I don't think Mirabelle Sarah flows particularly well??

Mirabelle Sarah Frances would work forinstance and I assume you mean Johanna? Johann being a boys name and all that....Mirabelle Johanna would actually work I think...

Actually Fairlady, it is Johann - not sure why they didn't stick an extra 'a' on the end of it. The family normally feminised the men's names they named the daughters after, like Williamina

I like most of the names you suggest, but they are a bit long for the middle name - we wanted something shorter and snappier (1-2 syllables). But your naming style is similar to mine, as 3 of the names were on my short list for first names.

Sleepycat, we could go without a middle name - hadn't thought of that! And thanks for saying it is a lovely name. I really like it. Other names we are considering are:

lol...oops...I just have never ever heard Johann used as a girls name....
Johann is the germany version of John, and Johanna is the feminine form...so, I suppose in english would be Joan ...can't remeber which english name is the female version of John...lol
