Is it OK to use Fraser if no Scottish links??

Other options we have narrowed down to are:
Samuel (Sam)
Rupert
Oscar
But quite like Fraser, but as I say, have no Scottish links at all. Do you think thats silly?!
Any advice/thoughts??

I don't see why not people use italien/irish/welsh/french names often just because they like them I think its a lovely name

We called my DD Cerys (welsh) just because we liked it - neither of us have any welsh background but now people assume we used it because we now live in wales

Thanks ladies, thats reassuring. FallenMadonna - no I didnt specifcially ask, but I did post them, so am definitely interested in people's views (something I never say in RL!). (Have been thinking maybe Rupert too posh???)
