Carlton?

What does anyone think? Our parents HATE it, but I think it's lovely. Although don't like thought of it being shortened to Carl...

there was a thread about this name a while ago - it just makes me think of 'this is Carlton your doorman' from 'Rhoda', if anyone ancient remembers it !

and my BIL lives in Carlton in Nottingham

I learnt to drive in a Vauxhall Carlton. It was silver and we called it Stan.

It's the name of a pub I used to go too. Frequented by punks and crusty types.
