Fergus if you don't mind two Fs.

Or, Rory! I know that some might say, Finley the fire engine and Roary the racing car, but with their celtic theme, Finley and Rory do go really well together, and few children's programmes last even ten yrs!

Archie and Toby would work well too.

Brightfield · 10/09/2008 16:18

I agree, Rory goes perfectly. In fact, I know two Finlay/Rory sibsets. Archie/Archibald is a good match too.

woodstockbaby · 10/09/2008 17:05

thenaughtiestgirlisamonitor - thanks, like Rory and Toby

Brightfield - Archibald, seriously is poncetastic and definitely not a match for Finlay which I think is a good salt of the earth type name. Archibald wouldn't go down well at school either.

Logan would be good.

lilolilmanchester · 10/09/2008 17:16

Ross was the first name that came into my mind, but reading the other suggestions, I think the "ee" sounding endings (Charlie, Archie, Rory etc) all sound good with Finlay and are lovely names. Harry perhaps?

Brightfield · 10/09/2008 17:30

Personally I love Archibald. My friend has one and he's scrummy and has never been teased. Archie is lovely on its own too I think.

I like Finlay and Rory, we will go for Rory if we have another boy.

I don't need your blessing for Archie thank you. I just think Archibald is a bit much.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I'll print off for dh later.
