Is two middle names too many?

Asked this in my other thread but either no one's reading the post or no one cares

Mairi is now in my top spot as girl's name following helpful spelling advice from MN and I'm on to grappling with middle names.

I'm wondering about:

Mairi Edith
Mairi Elizabeth or
Mairi Edith Elizabeth

Think that two is to many, though would be good to have both as Edith is my mum's name and Elizabeth is MIL's. What do you think?

DS has two middle names as he had his dads dads name (tradition) but also my mum died when i was pg so i wanted to give him my mums (unisex) middle name.
TBH he rarely uses the second middle name , he is 6 btw!

Two is too many, one is plenty.

CAll her Mairi Edith. FAmily can get over it. We had planned to give a boy a middle name from dh's side. But we never had a boy so that was that.

Thanks all

I'm leaning towards two happy grannies, even if in practice she only uses one of them.

Though I'm secretly hoping for a boy so I can call him Cnut
