I'll tell you what biglips, I have been really surprised how many people have not heard of the name Lucian at all
I would say about 50% of people say they don't know it - seriously! very strange
Plus about 50% of cards we got had the wrong spelling
and we say it Looshan but many many people say Loo see en - even after hearing us say it

mine is pronounced Loo-see-enne, it's an old family name (my mum is French)

my uncle is Lucien

even in France, many people haven't heard of Lucienne - tis considered quite old fashioned there, I believe
