I wanted something different and not too common that sounded like Leo but not Leo as it sounds too much like a cats name, so was just wondering what people thought? He is due in 3 weeksish, DP and I mostly agree on the names we like, luckily, but are completely stuck as to which one we will choose! Your thoughts please...

I really like Leon - it was nearly ds2's name but dh wanted Leo instead and we couldn't agree.

Both are great names imo

When I was teaching there seemed to be a huge number of Leon's (okay, I think there were 4) and my Canadian flatmate always said it was a Pimp's name.

I dont think theres anything wrong with Leo, I would seriously consider Leo for a boy except for everyone always teasing DH for looking like Mr Dicaprio so dont think it would go down one little bit in that case! Leon is nice too!

I like Leon. On a slight detour- I taught a Leon whose little brother was called Neil. Always thought it was almost the same but backwards.

Leo is nicer.

And yes, it always immediately echoes 'pig farmer' in my brain.
Which is never a good thing, IMO
