(no,make that Love actually) Rozalie Aurora Sales for my DD.

I like it alot,

I haven't worked up the courage to say it to DH as he will just go 'meh' like with the other 4,000 names I have mentioned.

Definitely Rosalie is much prettier. Rozalie reminds me of Godzilla for some reason, whereas Rosalie is more flowery and gypsy like.

pgwithnumber3 · 21/08/2008 22:34

Yes, I think that Rozalie should be spelt Rosalie. More classic looking and I don't think it would make me say it any different. For instance, my middle name is EliSabeth but it is said exactly the same as EliZabeth iyswim.

Well I have been trying it out ... ... saying 'Rosalie is kicking' and stuff but it doesn't flow out like Lydia does, but I think thats because I can't decide whether its Rosa-lee or Rosalie.

I'm going to try Rozalee today (but spelt Rosalie) and see how I feel leter and ask DH!

was trying it out today for you (up with newborn so bored) and FWiW I really like it... Rosalie Aurora Sales. And Rosalie should be pron. Roz-a-lee, shouldn't it? (like Rosalind/Rosaline)

I think someone mentioned before that your boys names sound quite American. Have you tried any American websites for girls names?

I have an American friend (girl) called Kyle and her sister is Kendall

I'd spell it Rosalie and pronounce Roz -a -lee as well. The z spelling does look a little odd. Lovely name

If you want to avoid the rose pronunication you could go for Rosalind?

MerryMarigold · 23/08/2008 21:04

Lydia is much nicer...not keen on Aurora AND Rozalie together - bit much, like eating chocolate fudge cake and then a whole box of Quality Street.

DisenchantedPlusBump · 24/08/2008 19:32

DS is still calling the baby Lydia even though we haven't called her that for weeks,

think it might stick.
