My initial reaction would be Milly or Isobel and George or Oscar! Some lovely names though. Good luck! Xx

Iklboo · 18/08/2008 13:30

I adore Milly & Isabel, Noah & Oscar

Nbg · 18/08/2008 13:30

The only girls one I really like is Matilda and the boys I like Oscar and Felix.

MrsMattie · 18/08/2008 13:31

Girls - Alexandra and Tess are both gorgeous. Milly, Matilda, Isabel - a bit played out in current times, but that may not bother you? Catherine - not to my taste, but classic.

Boys - Really don't like any of them but Leon, sorry!

MrsMattie · 18/08/2008 13:32

Oh - like Estelle or Estrella, but Estella sounds a bit made up.

Mamazon · 18/08/2008 13:34

I like Milly but it is getting quite well used.

i would go for Isobel and Matilda or George and Oscar

MamaG · 18/08/2008 13:35

Love:
Tess
Matilda
Catherine
Alexandra - wanted this for my dd but overruled by dh
Isabel

Only really like Noah from boys names. Used to love Finlay but now all I think of is the fire engine!

branflake81 · 18/08/2008 13:59

IllegallyBrunette · 18/08/2008 14:07

Like Matilda and Alexandra for the girls.

Noah, George and Finlay for the boys.

castille · 18/08/2008 14:20

Matilda, shortened to Tilly. Much prefer "proper" names to abbreviations as given names.

Oscar for a boy.

ethanchristopher · 18/08/2008 17:52

  1. milly (i LOVE it)
  2. isabella (cause i dont like isabel)
  3. catherine
  4. estella
  5. alexandra
  6. Tess
  7. matilda
  1. finlay
  2. felix
  3. noah
  4. oscar
  5. leon
  6. george
Stars22 · 18/08/2008 18:34

Estella - Dont really like
Tess - Is ok but sounds astho its short for something
Matilda- Might get shortened to Tilly
Catherine- Ok bit old fashioned imo.
Milly- is ok, not great
Alexandra- nice, i like it shortened to Alex for a girl.
Isabel- Dont like , also there are too many around.

Noah- Dont like
Felix-Cat
Leon- HATE
George -Nice
Oscar- dont like
Finlay - I like this one but prefer it spelt Finley.

This is only my opinion i dont mean to offend anyone.

chocolatemummy · 18/08/2008 18:38

like Estelle......but that is my dd name and still quite unusual thankfully. but Estella is a bit of a strange version

Like Noah too

seeker · 18/08/2008 18:41

Why not go for Theresa and Matilda shortened to Tess and Milly to give her more options?

Reginaphilangy · 18/08/2008 19:46

Estella - really don't like.
Tess - lovely.
Matilda - don't like this.
Catherine - lovely and love Cate as nn.
Milly - gorgeous! but prefer the spelling Millie
Alexandra - like alexandra and nn ali. absolutely can't stand the nn alex!
Isabel - lovely. very popular.

Noah - don't like this.
Felix - really like felix.
Leon - don't like this.
George - great name!
Oscar - like this.
Finlay - really don't like this.

My favourites from your list are Milly or Isabel for a girl and George, Felix or Oscar for a boy.

Moomin · 18/08/2008 19:52

think they are all lovely. Only thing I;d say is that Isabel is really really popular a the moment and she is likely to be one of 4 or 5 in any given class in the future!
