Whats the general consensus on these names, and which do you think sounds better?

I like Edwin and Edgar and my brother is called Edmund (Ned) so I'm no help, I'm afraid!

Actually Edgar is my DS middle name, but didnt want to say that straight away as wanted to gage genuine reaction to the names.When i tell people his name they always ask why i chose it and i always wonder do they think its very strange? To me its a normal name as both Edwin and Edgar are that names that have had continual use through the family.

don't like either - used to know a bloke called edwin - said he had a nightmare right through school and longed to be called dave or steve.....

only in adulthood did he finally escape the teasing....
