What do you think of the name Willow for a girl? Is it getting a bit popular now?

Sorry, don't like it. A bit pretentious and whimsical. IMHO.

I know of one little girl who has Willow as her middle name, but i don't know anyone who has it as a first name. So not popular in these parts ...

I think if you are choosing a 'thing' name you have to think if you or say your sil would suit it.
Having said that, I know a fairly hefty, clumsy Grace and she suits her name!

too Buffy for me, and i agree about it being a potential problem if DD is not a willowy type.

Sorry, just think it sounds like a siamese cat's name.

But I'm obviously in the minority on this one!
