I really like Pen and Penny. However, we rejected this cos Penelope is not a v nice name in our opinion. Also, some dim folk will pronounce it Penny-Lope ( a teacher did this to a Penny in my class when I was at school.)

I agree with the others - love Penny, but don't like Penelope. we tried very hard o like it for dd2, but even though we couldn't come up with another name (and didn't until she was a couple of weeks old!) we crossed it off our list.

Great name I like Penelope, and the character as well, good strong female role model.

Makes me think of Just Good Friends. Which for me is a good thing
