I like Phoebe Rose the best.

I really like Ryan for the boy, I haven't seen many of these for a while

MrsBadger · 22/07/2008 11:19

Lydia and Phoebe both lovely.
Caitlin Rose sounds nice but I'd prefer the trad spelling.
Amy's ok
I prefer full versions of names so would avoid Cally and Abby, ditto Charlie and Freddy.

Ryan, Samuel, Liam all fine but not high on my list of favourites.

jellybeans · 22/07/2008 11:20

Amy
Caitlyn

Ryan
Samuel

These are my faves from your list x

pointydog · 22/07/2008 11:31

prefer

Cailtin
Phoebe
Rose

SAmuel (Sam)
Liam

AbbeyA · 22/07/2008 11:38

Abby, Amy and Samuel-not keen on the rest.

TwoFir · 22/07/2008 13:57

Lydia Rose and Phoebe Rose are lovely, I would find it hard to pick which one I like better

None of the boys names are ones I would be tempted with.

ShowOfHands · 22/07/2008 13:58

Phoebe is nice. Not keen on any of the others.

Alaro · 22/07/2008 15:33

Phoebe is my DD middle name, so totally biased opinion!

Tigerschick · 22/07/2008 15:36

I like Lydia and Phoebe and think they both go with Rose.
I prefer Abigail over Abby, but I'm one for giving them the full name and then shortening it informally.

I love Samuel.
But I like all your boy's name choices.

eilidhfi · 22/07/2008 15:39

DD is Phoebe so I'm v biased tis the perfect name imo.

Samuel is my favourite from your boys list

Izzybel · 22/07/2008 15:51

Out of all you names my favourites are Amy (this was on the list for DD, but would have spelt it Aimee). Amy Rose sounds gorgeous!
Ryan or Charlie for a boy. There is a Ryan at my mum and baby group and he is so cute!

I like Phoebe but it will always remind me of Phoebe from 'Friends.'

kt08 · 22/07/2008 16:36

I think amy rose sounds lovely, i dont really think any of the others go with rose.
I like all of your boy names but i think samuel and charlie are my favourites from your list.

mamasaid · 22/07/2008 16:46

Phoebe, Lydia and Samuel. Is there a boys middle name?

janeite · 22/07/2008 16:47

My faves are Lydia, Caitlyn and Samuel. I don't much like Ryan, Charlie (but do like Charles) or Freddy.

clairebear88 · 22/07/2008 21:48

hi

thanks for all the opinions and mostly positive which is good. Im trying to get a name list going now whilst trying to get preganant ( very organised )
The middle name for boy would be either william ( after our dads ) or Brendan (after dh)

MadBadandDangeroustoKnow · 22/07/2008 22:12

I like the girls' names (although I'd name her Abigail and use Abby as an abbreviation).

Of the boys' names I like Samuel best, but would use Charles and Alfred/Frederick on the birth certificate. These work best with William, I think, but Ryan and Liam work best with Brendan, perhaps.

sweetkitty · 22/07/2008 22:15

As Mum of an Abigail shortened to Abbie I have got to say I like it the best

Of your boys names I would chose Charlie

bluenosesaint · 22/07/2008 22:21

I like Abby, Amy, Caitlyn (Caity) best out of your girls list.
Not keen on Cally (but do like Kelly) Phoebe and Lydia (really don't like Lydia, seems very 'hard')

I like Samuel and Charlie best out of your boys names

clairebear88 · 29/07/2008 13:47

LadyThompson · 04/08/2008 11:57

Lydia or Samuel.

clairebear88 · 06/08/2008 16:04

pretty mixed votes really which is good, I know they are quite popular names but im not really into unusual tbh.
I also now like Isabel and Evan too after reading various threads. There are so many nice names out there
