The best people I know are called Sylvia, Susanne, Tom, Gill, Carolyn, Guy and Danny.

Lots of Emma's but one I know is a teacher and said that children she taught were retarded, while sitting next to a couple also in our friendship group who have a child with a genetic condition that affects development. Worst person I know.

Faith, just the most sweetest, kindest, lady. I never once heard her say a bad word about anyone, she was so pure-hearted.

Lucy, my best friend since we were 12/13. Now 33 and have never had so much as a disagreement. She’s an amazing person, mother, friend. She’s just lovely.

Two of the best people i know have the same name as two of the people who have made my life miserable.
It's very complicated.

However I do know lots of wonderful katherines/catherines/kathryns/catharines/cathryns - with various diminutives- and never met a bad one. So that can stand.
