Help with Indian baby boy names?

My husband and I are Indian but live in the US and just found out we're having a boy as our second! We were much more prepared for girl names and I have been extremely picky as we try to pick out a name 🙈 My top choices now are:

Ayan
Nayan
Reyan

Does anyone have thoughts/preferences? Would love any insight!!!

I think this will be tricky for uk-based mumsnetters to weigh in on as the variety in “a” sounds between Indian, British and American accents is wild.

Where I live in the UK, these three names get torn to shreds because people can’t cope with the -an ending not being a schwa sound.

Have you tried out getting local people to say the name? (I don’t mean read, I just mean pronounce) Just to see if you like how you will often hear it said in the local accent?

I think all three names are lovely. I would rate:

Nayan
Ayan
Reyan (but only because I knew a particularly annoying one!)

my DH is Indian and I'm British so I'm also looking at names from his culture. I'm finding it hard because they don't mean anything to me.

I liked Ayan best of your names but I can only guess its pronounced Eye-yan

I am Indian and my husband is English, my sons names are in there too.

I'd advise against Aarian...too similar to Aryan, and all the associated dodgy implications....
