About to welcome third baby girl who will be a sister to Stella and Juno.

We've narrowed it down two but DP likes both and says it's my choice (Since I'm doing all the work 😂)

Stella, Juno and Pearl
Stella, Juno and Zelda

I also like both pretty much equally. Help!

I think Stella and Zelda sound too alike

IceLollly · Yesterday 19:38

I do like Zelda but I know one in her 50s and she hates it. Although probably won’t stand out as much as it did.

SinuousTendrils · Yesterday 19:39

I have a Pearl and wish I'd named my other Stella, but local pronunciation put the kaibosh(sp?) on it.
Congratulations ❤️

Pearl.

Pearl is much nicer than Zelda

mathanxiety · Yesterday 20:17

Zelda has the pizazz you need alongside Stella and Juno.

Fab names all.

mimosa1 · Yesterday 20:24

Lovely names but it’s true that Stella and Zelda sound a bit too similar so for that reason, Pearl has the edge for me.

Namiemcnameface · Yesterday 20:26

When I read them I instantly thought Zelda is cool!!! But having read the comments I agree that Stella and Zelda could run into one another and each one having their own end sound would also sway me.

Fab names though!

Ipsevenenabibas · Yesterday 20:29

Pearl is cute.

cheapskatemum · Yesterday 20:29

I prefer Pearl and think it goes well with your DDs’ names. All lovely names by the way!

I really like Pearl, as each child will have their own name ending sound.

Exactly what I thought

Giraffehaver · Yesterday 22:21

Pearl is beautiful and goes well with your other girls

relaxitsok · Yesterday 22:27

I love Pearl and agree it fits better. Are you a Zelda fan op? As the game is v popular among kids just now. Not like it would be a source of mockery but feels like it would be a ‘thing’.

Not me, but DP which is where it came from and i just came around to it as quite a cool name! Our kids are still too young for us to know what's popular atm so that's good to know

Eee love your girls names and love both Pearl and Zelda equally!!! Probs Zelda by an inch but Pearl has the advantage of no repeated endings (very minor!)

Cece92 · Yesterday 22:52

I love the name Pearl 🥰

Daphnedolittle2 · Yesterday 23:42

Pearl, love it

Depends where you live. Pearl sounds pretty in some accents but absolutely awful in others!

Yes, I’ve heard

Perrrl / Perul
Pehww
Pahl
Pell
and
Perl (which I think is correct)

Italiangreyhound · Yesterday 23:48

Pearl.

Nutmuncher · Yesterday 23:51

Why Stella though? I just think signet rings wheezy coughs and cigarettes when I hear that name. Juno sounds like an app or game for maths geeks. Pearl is ok but a bit old fashioned and makes me think doily’s and boiled veg smell.

Enko · Yesterday 23:52

I dont care for Pearl. So would go for Zelda even with the 2 a endings.

The girl child Stella (older sister) is already named, I believe. It’s a beautiful name, a bright and starry Dickensian retro jewelSmile

Personally I think Zelda is fabulous.

Why would you come on and make unasked for comments on the names of the OPs two other children?
