Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Daffodilsinthespring · 21/05/2026 17:14

May is the best.

cloudysky75 · 21/05/2026 17:15

Millie if it's short for Millicent

Greenknightsuccess · 21/05/2026 17:27

They’re all nice apart from Mabli and I would spell Tammy with a y.

Balloonhearts · 21/05/2026 17:32

I like most of them but they aren't actually full names, just shortenings. I wouldn't give a child a diminutive as their given name. If you used the full version Tamsin or Tamara then Tammie is nice. Lydia is lovely.

EnidVance · 21/05/2026 20:50

I like Lydia, Mabli and Heidi. Although Heidi is quite popular these days.

Millie is just dull and overused. There are endless Millies and Amelias, Emelias and Amelies who are also Millies. Maisie is also overused and I can’t imagine it on an adult.

May is so overused but as a middle name, so many girls are a ‘something’-May.

Tammie is just a nickname.

NamingNoNames · 21/05/2026 21:22

@Myoldbear , May as a name was traditionally used as a form of Mary.

@EnidVance , Emilia not Emelia.

icannotlivelaughloveintheseconditions · 21/05/2026 21:24

Love Cassie, may , Millie, Heidi, lydia

Cassie and Lydia remind me of the Grey sisters books

Giraffehaver · 21/05/2026 22:26

I love Mabli. So cute

OliviaBonas · 21/05/2026 22:46

I love the name Lydia.

Cassandra Mabli

How exciting! I hope all goes well, and good luck on the name!

Cassie - Love. I've seen this one pop up here a couple of times lately and it's currently my favourite on your list.
May - Love, it's a family name, underused as a first name, I wanted to call a daughter this but alas I had boys.
Heidi - Love it was also high up on my baby names list

Tammie - very 90's. Not keen, but perhaps I am out of date with what's fashionable! My kids are around 13 yrs old.
Mabli - a name of an animal to me.
Millie & Maisie- seem a bit boring compared to the other names
Lydia - Aunt Lydia (horrible fictional character) also a tattooed lady (Kermit the frog), though it seems very popular on here at the moment!

LoudPlumDog · 22/05/2026 15:55

I love Millie !

plumpynoo · 22/05/2026 20:11

Heidi and Lydia for me.

Ryanstartedthefire2 · 22/05/2026 20:13

I like them all apart from Tammie. Cassie is my favourite.

franksmama · 22/05/2026 22:09

Lydia gets my vote. DS would have been a Lydia had he been a girl.

Sheepydoggo · 22/05/2026 22:11

I love Mabli, I have a Mallie

Heidi
Lydia

Lydia first choice. Sounds feminine and suitable for a child and an adult.
some sound ok for a child. Some ‘American’. Some may not stand the test of time.

Xmasallergies · 23/05/2026 10:38

Tamsin but use Tammie. Very cute and unusual.

ToadRage · 23/05/2026 10:44

Like Cassie, Millie, Heidi and Lydia. Hate all the others, Maisie especially. I terms of the two former names i prefer full names, these are abbreviations. Cassie = Cassandra, Millie = Camilla/Amelia

permanently · 23/05/2026 10:47

Have only met one Mabli and she’s hella nice

ToadRage · 23/05/2026 11:06

Where on earth does Mabli come from? I have honestly never heard this name before and it's horrible, but like Mabel.

It’s Welsh.

greenfingers2026 · 23/05/2026 19:41

Maisie and Lydia are probably my favourite, though I like May as a first name. It makes me think of May from Peaky Blinders!

ladygindiva · 23/05/2026 21:20

I love Mabli! All your names are nice tbh although I much prefer the lovely Tamzin/ Tamsin to the abbreviated Tammy
