Girl name preference - Flora or Lilia

Considering these two names for a baby girl - curious to know which people prefer out of Flora and Lilia.

I know an 18 year old Lilia. She was named after one of the professional dancers on Strictly.

Flora by a mile.

lilia reminds me of the brand of sanitary towels we had in the 80s of the same name.

Definitely Flora.

It’s classic, floral and feminine without being cutesy.

Flora. There are a couple of good literary Floras: Flora Poste in Cold Comfort Farm and Flora Thompson who wrote Lark Rise To Candleford.

Flora is a Roman goddess… of flowers and spring. Brands don’t co-opt beautiful millennia old names if you don’t let them. Try to raise your associations up from popular marketing.

Lilia

I think both are lovely

I love Flora! DH didn’t like it as he said it made him think of “flora and fauna,” otherwise maybe DD would have been a Flora ❤️

I much prefer Flora. I actually really like Lilia too if i could guarentee she'd be called her full name 90% of the time, but i think its inevitable that she'll become Lily which i find a bit meh

Flora is lovely. Too many Lilys and Lily-adjacent names like Lila, Lola, Liliana, Layla around.

Flora makes me think of butter. Lilia is lovely.

Flora is beautiful. Don't like Lilia quite as much. My Mum once told me she could never call her daughter Lilia cos apparently it was the name of a feminine hygiene product around when she was younger.

Flora
