Our favourite girls name and wanted to hear what others thought!

I have an Anna. She’s 24 now and I still love it.

mellongoose · Yesterday 21:37

Lovely name.

fabricstash · Yesterday 21:40

An absolute classic

SemperIdem · Yesterday 21:41

In all honesty, I think it is a little dull.

Objectively speaking though, it is undeniably a very classic name that travels well and seems to elude any class connotations.

Very nice

Go for it! Palindromic names are cool

Firebird83 · Yesterday 21:57

I love it!

Daffodilsinthespring · Yesterday 22:09

Nice and much better than Hannah.

patooties · Yesterday 22:12

I like it but it’s quite dull.

LotsOfSmallThings · Yesterday 22:17

Absolutely love it, always have! Finally got to use it on my last ever baby (as a middle name, but I’ll take it!) 😁

undergrown · Yesterday 22:17

Go for it, it’s lovely
I have a friend who spells it Annah which I think is beautiful 😍
I also love Annabelle/Annabel

Esperanza25 · Yesterday 22:22

Love it!

I think it's a strong choice and not a name you hear so much, I was at school with a few Annas in the 90s. Also love Anastasia.

Giraffehaver · Yesterday 22:37

Very lovely. My sister has a Susannah which I also adore

user2848502016 · Yesterday 22:54

It’s pretty

Thefinalcountup · Yesterday 22:56

It's fine, it's hard to dislike it but it's a bit dull. I do love Annie though.

Surelyitscoffeetimenow · Yesterday 23:06

Lovely. It would have been top of our list had we been able to use it.

Bbq1 · Today 00:51

Anne is nicer and more unusual.

I love it - would have named my DD Anna, only a friend nicked it first - which is really unlucky because it's not that common. I was also thinking of Annabel, which is really pretty too.
Funnily enough my dsis claims the name I did end up using for my DD was her fave name for years (she'd never told us) and was furious with me for 'nicking' her name!

LightDrizzle · Today 01:07

Love it!
