Is Oliver Sage too hippy and/or redundant? (Since Olive and Sage are both shades of green/plants?) I love it so much but don’t want my boy to grow up finding it weird as an adult

I love the sound of Oliver Sage.
It's handsome, confident and gentle.

My little boys middle name is Sage :) we were in love with the name too, paired it with a masculine first name!

Not sure why but I absolutely think of Sage as a girls name. Maybe the E ending. Or thinking of other names like Heather, Rose, Rosemary, Daisy etc.

Although Basil is a male name so maybe it doesn’t matter!

I really like Sage, but at other pp have said, if it's a middle name no-one really pays attention after the christening.

Oliver, on the other hand, is done to death.

The reality is the only time he will ever hear his first and middle name being said in the same sentence is when he's being told off for doing something really dumb.

I love it! I love Sage for a boy and Oliver is a great name!

A no vote from me. I don't like Oliver or Sage.

Oliver / Ollie is nice. Sage is very naff. Sorry to be harsh!
