Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions for names to go with Joshua? Surname begins with a C.

TIA

My Joshua is David but sometimes I wish i'd gone with James!

I have a Joshua and his middle name is Luke - I think they go extremely well together (although I am biased of course!)

Would avoid a vowel because of the flow thing.

Littleface - I think Joshua David is fab. Joshua James reminds me of the AA Milne poem "Jonathan Jo had a mouth like an O..."

Thanks for the responses. Funny enough I came up with Joshua James earlier as it seems to flow well but I'm now going to try out all the suggestions. Keep them coming

there is a brilliant kids book about a boy who goes swimming with his gran and his name is Joshua Joshua. But he probably wouldn't thank you for it

looneytune · 14/06/2008 21:47

Probably not!

Joshua James came to mind when I spotted the thread title - JJ is a very cute nickname

littleboyblue · 14/06/2008 21:56

Joshua's a name on my list and James will be the middle name.
I chose that so if he didn't like Joshua or Josh when he older he can choose JJ

PuppyMonkey · 14/06/2008 21:57

Boring?

Sorry, it is though...

looneytune · 15/06/2008 09:26

Thanks everyone. At this moment in time I feel I like Joshua James with a cute nickname JJ (I hadn't thought of that before and it just adds to me liking it ). I'll just see if it feels right when he's born. Due in 8 days so not long now.

Thanks for your help

I like Joshua James also Joshua David and Joshua Benjamin sound nice to me

LuLuBai · 16/06/2008 12:15

The moment I saw the title of this thread I thought Joshua James with JJ for short. It's obviously an appealing combo if there is such unanimous support on MN.

Sarahpo · 19/06/2008 10:51

Joshua Duncan?

muminCT · 19/06/2008 15:14

Joshua Daniel was a name I had considered for this baby I'm pregnant with, but hubby wasn't keen
