This will be our third and last baby, and our first boy (still in shock as I was certain it would be another girl!)

We have a Cordelia and Vivienne already, so that’s kind of the vibe.

We like:

Hugo
Peter
Cameron (but I am slightly put off by the meaning)

Any opinions on these or other suggestions are welcome!

Peter is the best match with the other names I think. Not keen on Hugo (golden retriever name) and Cameron feels more American or Australian whereas your other names are more English or European.

other names I think work with Cordelia and Vivienne:

Edwin
Mark/Marcus
Stefan
Frederick
Charles
Max
Aubrey (though that feels more girly now possibly)
Louis
Anthony
Giles

I don't think you can have a Cordelia, Vivienne and then plain old Peter.

I don't like Horatio but it has the right vibe.

HugoYorway · 20/12/2025 12:57

Hugo popularity is probably from the Theo, Leo, Arlo trend, @CocoViva .

BelleDeJourRose · 20/12/2025 13:01

Peter is my favourite

LoudPlumDog · 20/12/2025 13:19

Cordelia, Vivienne and Peter

Suggestions:

Cordelia, Vivienne and Francis
Cordelia, Vivienne and Alfred
Cordelia, Vivienne and Wyndham
Cordelia, Vivienne and Edward
Cordelia, Vivienne and Ernest

TrudgingTowards2026 · 20/12/2025 13:27

IMO your girls have 'big' names so your son needs one too. I think another long name would suit best but I realise the 3 are individuals and don't need to sounds like a set.

Perhaps Rafferty, Theodore, Benjamin, Montague or Jonathan?

boysmuminherts · 20/12/2025 13:35

Cameron doesnt really go and is another C initial which I would avoid as you already have Cordelia. Also, although I like Hugo it's very popular. Peter is good.
Some other boys names in that kinda vibe including many on our lists -
Dominic
Barnaby
Felix
Jasper
Otis
Nathaniel
Sebastian
Gabriel
Arlo
Raphael

Congratulations!

Moreteaandchocolate · 20/12/2025 13:35

Peter is lovely and you don’t hear it often!

The Cordelia I know of has a brother called Xander (I don’t know if it’s short for Alexander).

Hugo is nice too.

Ideas

Jasper
Miles
Evander
Tobias
Gilbert
Monty
Rupert
Felix
Raphael (Raffy/ Rafe)
Howard (Howie)
Jeremy (Jen)
Moses
Roscoe
Silas
Dominic
Sebastian
Jago
Wilfred (Wilf)
Tristan
Leonard (Lenny)

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 20/12/2025 14:03

Drystan
Lysander
Alastair (or any of the various spellings)

Goandygo · 20/12/2025 14:16

I love Peter.
Also, Robert, John. All due a comeback.
My first thought was Sebastian.
Dominic is great, as is Tristan and Benedict.

Needaglowup · 20/12/2025 14:21

Definitely Hugo matches the best with your girls names , which are beautiful by the way

Pemba · 20/12/2025 14:28

Peter was VERY popular, up to about 1965 or so? People must know older Peters.
Due a comeback now as its a good classic name, biblical etc.

Something very wholesome about it and I somehow get a mental picture of a cute little boy in wellies. Then there's the Peter Rabbit connection.

FrightfulNightfull · 20/12/2025 14:41

Peter is sweet

There are other names that sound right (to me) with your other children’s names like

Edmund
Louis (in the loo-ee way of saying it as opposed to the Lewis way I’ve heard some people say it, though to me Lewis also works!)
Sebastian (always a fav of mine)
Horace (as opposed to Horatio which I like too)
Arthur
Marcus
Thomas
Albert (Bertie)

NadjaofAntipaxos · 20/12/2025 14:52

Laurence? Laurie for short.

Joeninety · 20/12/2025 15:03

Joe is a nice name.

HighburyHope · 20/12/2025 16:16

Orlando?

Myfridgeiscool · 20/12/2025 16:30

Benedict or Rupert. Your girls have very strong names, a strong boy name will compliment them.

Celynfour · 20/12/2025 17:21

Hugo is very popular here
To go with the traditional (but not overused )style of your girl’s names
Giles
Toby
Tristan
Miles
John

I had an unexpected son after 2 girls , it’s a fab combination !

mathanxiety · 20/12/2025 17:23

Hugo.

Or Peter - but Hugo goes better imo; a softer sound, and more in tune with the vibe of Cordelia and Vivienne.

Not Cameron. It doesn't go at all with the other names.

CocoViva · 20/12/2025 21:05

@OldBeyondMyYearsJames is lovely, thanks!

@BreadstickBurglarthink you’re right about Cameron - don’t think it fits with the others.

@TrudgingTowards2026love Rafferty!

@boysmuminhertsRaphael is my absolute fave boys name but my husband is seriously against it unfortunately!

Thanks for all of your suggestions, it’s great hearing from people who aren’t personally connected as I know I will get honest opinions.

Chickenhorse · 20/12/2025 21:09

Cordelia, Vivienne and Cassius, or
Cordelia, Vivienne and Alexander, nickname Zander.

Giraffehaver · 20/12/2025 22:36

I like Peter very much. Other suggestions
Oscar
Jacob
Rufus
Daniel
Emrys
Cedric

Peoplemakemedespair · 20/12/2025 22:39

Sonny

elm26 · 20/12/2025 22:49

I have a 3 month old Thomas which I think goes nicely with your girls names, I also like Hugo from your list and Henry was a top contender when naming our son, which would also go nicely with your girls names!

sunnyhoneybumblebee · 20/12/2025 22:58

How about Mateo?
