37 weeks pg with dc4. Since finding out she is a girl at 16 weeks ive been rail roaded by dh and other dc to pick a specific name. Finally got listened too last night and other name suggestions are being considered.

Dh and I take it in turns to pick a name however I picked dc1 and he took over dc2 and dc3 and nearly did it again for dc4.
Middle name will be Mae/May
Ideas

Elodie
Charlotte
Thea
Aurora

Thanks

Charlotte May - Charlotte is a lovely name in full and I like Charley too. Less keen on Lottie personally but lots love that too.

Elodie is OK. I prefer Melody

Aurora is too frilly to me, I feel it wouldn't suit unless she was an absolute princess loving type of girlie and it may be hard to pull off as a teenager if she's not. Rory / Rora are nice nicknames though

Thea is nice enough but not sure on the flow with May. Theodora May maybe

Definitely go with May over Mae

Elodie is so pretty and timeless

Charlotte is just completely boring

Timeless means not affected by the passage of time or changes in fashion.
Elodie wasn't used much at all in the UK until recently, and El- names have been very popular until recently, so it's not timeless. Once the Ellie/Ella names become out of fashion it will seem dated. Elodie is quite a pretty name, however.

Middle names don’t tend to be used so much, so i always think you need to look at first name and surname together when considering a first name.

that being said I like Charlotte and Elodie

Absolutely.

I love Elodie and Aurora with the nickname Rory. I wish I’d thought of it when I had my kids!
