Seriously
I'm not pregnant. my children have names

and yet I can't stop being fascinated. is there something wrong with me?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
nickytwotimes · 06/06/2008 10:15

Yes.

I have the same ailment...

TigerFeet · 06/06/2008 10:16

me too

I don't always post but I always have an opinion

IMHO - people seem to be most opinionated and offensive here - therefore it's most fun to read - I was in hysterics reading the abuse that someone was receiving for choosing an "interesting" spelling for a child's name.

LadyThompson · 06/06/2008 13:23

Opinionated and offensive here?? Man, you should read some of the cs vs vaginal birth posts, or breast v bottle, or sahm vs working mothers... I love this thread purely for its light relief factor!! However, I am expecting a baby girl so I keep checking in in the hope that no one mentions the name I have picked, or in case I see a better one! I post quite a lot but no one has ever liked my suggestions I don't think...

Pinkchampagne · 06/06/2008 13:27

I am the same, and I'm not sure why!

hannah001 · 06/06/2008 13:30

LadyThompson - Sweet - thanks for the tips - i'm off to check out those topics

PrimulaVeris · 06/06/2008 13:35

I've been sort of drawn to them too, I post and just can't stop myself ...

Brightens up my day no end

MakemineaGandT · 06/06/2008 13:59

me too - and I look at birth announcements in the Times most days to check what names are popular there! I get very annoyed when I see DS2's name being used........it's supposed to be "unusual"

Weegiemum · 06/06/2008 15:52

I'm the same! I have my kids and am not having any more ever. But am weirdly fascinated (maybe its like looking at a road accident) by what people are calling their children.

Mine have boring old names that are never mentioned, so its not like I am looking for reassurance, I love my kids names.

But still am weirdly drawn to this board ....

cornsilk · 06/06/2008 15:53

I always have a look as well!

bluenosesaint · 06/06/2008 17:52

me too

belgo · 06/06/2008 17:53

Me too. But at the moment, I'm pregnant, so have an excuse to be obsessed with baby names

serin · 06/06/2008 21:59

It is very unlikely that I will have more children but I like to pick out names for them nevertheless
