Help, traditional but modern boy names!

I am expecting my first child early next year.
But have no idea on names,
I like Ellis, Elliot and Toby, but the DH isn't convinced.
We also love traditional names that can be shortened for a modern twist like Albert to Bertie or Albie, but I know a lot of people with boys called Albie.
I also have Welsh heritage, so a Welsh twist would be amazing.
But I think I'm looking for a unicorn name that just doesn't exist!
Any suggestions please!

Short for Gruffydd. I probably should have put the full name. Some people anglicise it to Griff

Arthur was my first thought - a lovely, traditional name with Welsh roots and shortens to Artie.

Dylan is another lovely, traditional Welsh name.

If you don’t mind more unusual names, then Neirin is my favourite Welsh name for boys - I just love Nye for short.

Or do you like Aidan or Rhys?

Llywelyn or Llewelyn not Llewellyn. Nice but when anglicised sounds like Lou Ellen.

Llew is fab. 🦁
