I like Lottie and Zach best. Sorry I couldn’t vote for both though :) I also like Marnie.

Lottie and Marnie are OK. The boys' names aren't to my taste. Zac (no h) is ok if short for Zachary. The others are surnames, and are a bit unaspiring.

I'd use Charlotte Louise or Zachary Elliott on the birth certificate.

Love these suggestions. We had Zachary in our list too

Michael and Robert are both nice. Using them as middle names avoids them being Mike and Rob.

Brady, Riley or Casey would be better used as names for pets.

Athena and Barry

Lovely names
Im a big believer of having an idea of a name, then throwing it out the window.
Non of mine were called the names we had planned as when we met them they didnt fit.

Cinaferna · 25/09/2025 15:37

I like both girl's names and of the boy's names, I massively prefer Zach Elliot.

Charlotte and Zachary aka Lottie and Zach

This!

Great names!

I voted for Riley Michael, and my favourite among the girl names is Lottie Louise.

CarpetKnees · 25/09/2025 23:43

I like Zach Elliot, but none f the other boys' names.

But I don't like either Lottie or Marnie.

Even if I did, I think you can only vote for one option in a poll.

Spell it Zack - its the most popular variant of the name, likely due to similar Jack. If you spell it Zac or Zach people are more likely to assume it’s short for Zachary (which is nice too if you do want the longer version). Zack would be my pick of your boys name options though - it’s lovely.

Riley and Casey are quite unisex American sounding names to me, so not my taste. Brody is okay, especially if Scots heritage or links. I’d love Michael if it was a first name choice though!

Less keen on the girls names as they are quite trendy- but of the two I’d pick Marnie as I only like Lottie as a nickname for Charlotte.

Zack isn't that popular, so the spelling isn't justified. Given that Zachary is far more popular, and that Zack/Zach/Zac/Zak all sound the same, the assumption that it's short for Zachary is likely anyway.

Zack has historically always been the most popular spelling out of Zack, Zach and Zac as an independent name afaik (likely due to the popularity of Jack). Given that the OP hasn’t said she wants to use much more popular Zachary, imo it makes sense to use the most popular spelling of Zack for ease (even if it’s only more popular by 40 boys a year or so at the moment due to the general wider spread of names).

Emanwenym · 26/09/2025 20:29

@Alexandrine , people will get them wrong anyway, and given that the difference is minimal, OP should use the one they like best.
