I've not heard of Juniper being used, but why not? Its quite pretty. Lots of good nns like Juno.

Obviously there's Olive and Cassia, though lots on MN don't like the "cheap cinnamon substitute" connection.

But what about Idra? It's Greek for fig tree.

I think aster is a lovely plant name

Thanks everyone for these great names. We love Rowan just have one already in the wider family. Have Robyn on the list but really do like Sorrel. I’ve only known one who spelt it Sorrell when I was at uni many years ago
