Can’t decide on a girls name!! Any suggestions?

Front runner is probably Maisie, but worried it might be a bit cutesy… Love Clover but worried it will remind people of the Margarine 🤔

We already have a Poppy

I love the name Maisie.
Clover and Fern do make me think of pet cows (sorry 😬).
Juniper I quite like - I know of one who mostly gets called Juno.
If you are ok with Juno, June or Juni then it's fine.
I prefer Maisie though.

I think Maisie was originally a nn for Margaret, or Marguerite, like Daisy is. So you could call her eg Marguerite on the birth certificate but Maisie IRL, then she has the option of a less cutesy name should she want to be, I dunno, Chancellor of the Exchequer?

Clover is a guilty pleasure name that I love but wouldn’t be brave enough to use. I also love Meadow, Maple and Lilac in the same way.

Maisie is gorgeous and not too cutesy - I know a few of various ages and it works well for older teens / adults as well as kids.

Juniper - I prefer June nn Juni

Fern feels a bit dated but could grow on
me.

Thank you all so much for your replies!! Given me a lot of names to mull over. Feeling encouraged with the name Maisie! Think we may have to go for that 🥰 maybe Mae for short!

Also love the name Olive that has been suggested a few times, just can’t get my husband to go for it! X

My mum's old cat was Maisie and I did have a tendency to call her "Maize" 😂
Love the name though.
