I would also call her Charlotte Louise, and Lottie for short. Lovely names.

PistachioTiramisuLimoncello · 18/08/2025 22:05

I like Lottie and Marnie.
Not Mae or Raine.
Will Lottie be short for Charlotte?

PistachioTiramisuLimoncello · 18/08/2025 22:06

How about Eloise instead of Louise?

Charlotte Eloise nn Lottie

RosesAndHellebores · 18/08/2025 22:10

Marnie Louise

Lottie's a nn
Raine reminds me of Countess Raine, the late PoW's step mother, nn Acid Raine.

MsMiniver · 18/08/2025 22:15

Charlotte Louise, known as Lottie

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 18/08/2025 22:30

I love Lottie Amelia

LivingTheDreamish · 18/08/2025 22:34

Lottie Amelia (but Charlotte on bc).

marshmallowfinder · 18/08/2025 22:36

Charlotte Louise. Really dislike Mae, Raine and Marnie. Amelia has a very ugly 'mealy' sound plus it is the name of a condition where limbs are missing, so absolutely not.

Charlotte Lorraine? Then she has actual names that can be abbreviated?
But I'm big on traditional names spelt as they should be.
I have a sibling called Lorraine.

Charlotte Lorraine is absolutely gorgeous. This 100% OP.

I just named my DS Teddy, yes I know its overdone 🙄 he's actually very much a Ted rather than Teddy, but his BC is Edward 🥰 you have to think of their future.

Yachtingaroundtheworldiwish · 18/08/2025 22:37

Marnie Louise sounds lovely

RogueFemale · 18/08/2025 22:48

JLH2B26 · 18/08/2025 19:42

Lottie Louise
Lottie Raine
Lottie Amelia
or
Marnie Mae
Marnie Louise
Marnie Raine

@JLH2B26 Don't name your daughter Lottie as it's a nickname, not a name. It's also a bit wholesome and clunky. Call her Charlotte.

I don't like Marnie at all. And avoid the dreaded Mae.

The other middle names are fine.

NormaSears · 18/08/2025 22:51

PistachioTiramisuLimoncello · 18/08/2025 22:06

How about Eloise instead of Louise?

Charlotte Eloise nn Lottie

Eloise and Louise are completely different names.

baby2incoming · 18/08/2025 22:59

I love Lottie and it was on my list for my 2yo DD, I also don’t mind Marnie but personally I don’t like any of middle names with either names.

Yokaiwatch · 18/08/2025 23:13

I like Amelia Raine out of the names you have there.

From the combinations I would probably go with Lottie Louise.

What about Louise Raine?

TheDonsDingleberries · 19/08/2025 07:20

@JLH2B26 Just to add that Lottie is currently in the top 50 and rising, so it's perfectly fine if you want to use it as a full name for whatever reason. It will be a complete non-issue when she's a grown up and surrounded by adult Elsies & Freddies.

Besides, given that nobody has ever asked to see my birth certificate when I introduce myself by any version of my name, I daresay she can be a Lottie who goes by Charlotte just as easily as a Charlotte who goes by Lottie if she wants!

Enko · 19/08/2025 07:26

Marnie Raine
Marnie Mae
Marnie Louise.

I dislike Lottie. Prefer Charlotte if you have to have it but
Lottie Amelia
Lottie Raine
Lottie Louise

I am not usually a fan of Mae as a middlename but I prefer it to Louise
What about Marnie Amelia?

For me Marnie is a gorgous name hits the sweet spot of known but uncommon.
Lottie is a overused common middle of the row name. Charlotte imo changes it to at least Classic but its still not one I get excited about.

My favourites, inspired by your list ..

Charlotte Louise
Charlotte Amelia
Charlotte Lorraine
Lottie Louisa

Mumofgirls2017 · 19/08/2025 09:44

Marnie Louise

Elephantangel1991 · 19/08/2025 13:03

I really dislike Charlotte as a sound, much prefer Lottie.

From being on interview panels and doing shortlisting for jobs (in the first instance it's blind) it would be hard to penalise someone because of their name. There are really strict criteria candidates have to meet, and for more senior positions a member of HR would be on the panel. I suppose despite everything unconscious bias could come into play, but i work in an international environment and Lottie wouldn't be at all one of the more unusual names at all. And by the time this Lottie is getting jobs, there will be so many Elsie/Rosie/Hattie/Georgie/Ellie as full names etc.

I'm not so fond of the middle names. Maybe Lottie Louise or Lottie May? Not such a fan of Marnie although it's ok.

The child may like it though and not like to be stuck with Lottie as the best all and end all of her name.

Lottie isnt a name to me it's a nn.

my favourite is Marnie Louise, followed by Lottie Amelia - lovely names, goodluck!
