Can anyone recommend a good website for suggesting names that will allow quite detailed searching e.g. eliminating certain initials or by number of syllables?

I have never seen a website like that. Some have search by meaning or initial but not complex searches that I have seen. Best to get a book me thinks

Thanks for replies so far - we want a shortish name as have a long surname (hence the ability to restrict the search to one or two syllables) and the number of names is a bit bewildering - there are so many we wouldn't even consider as want something reasonably conventional.

We also don't want to repeat an initial already in the family (unless we absolutely love the name) - was hoping to find a nice website that would do the filtering for us so that we can have a shorter list to look through [lazy emoticon]

There is one I have been on at some point where you put in names that you like and it suggest other ones in a similar vein. It was marvellous but I have lost it. Anyone know?
