Has anyone suggested Citronella for a girl yet? Larynx for a boy I think. This is easy this baby naming lark isn't it?

tearinghairout · 27/05/2008 16:04

Shouldn't it be pronounced Spudulika for a girl?

misdee · 27/05/2008 16:05

piece of p*ss isnt it.

Isn't it time some old traditional saints names were revived? such as Pancras.

JeremyVile · 27/05/2008 16:08

I like Lidl. sounds exotic. Like, German or something...

3andnomore · 27/05/2008 16:08

I think Nausea sounds just lovely...has such a lovely gentle ring to it but I suppose it could cause confusing in pronounciation...would it be pronounced Nau-cee or Nau-see-ah....hmmmm...maybe not so easy after all

3andnomore · 27/05/2008 16:10

Aldi?

3andnomore · 27/05/2008 16:10

how about Maggot for a boy....

misdee · 27/05/2008 16:12

i thinking maybe Asma, so dd1 feels like i am naming baby after her wheezey chest.

MargaretMountford · 27/05/2008 16:14

saints names are good..as in Neots

Lurkinaround · 27/05/2008 16:21

I would pronounce Nausea as Nor-sha or maybe with a harder sound like the end of Judge. Is there a technical term for that sound and how do you write it? zzya? jjjjya?

How about Nazi but pronounced Nazzy?

JeremyVile · 27/05/2008 16:23

Canestenella?

lazarou · 27/05/2008 16:27

LOL @ Asma!

misdee · 27/05/2008 16:28

Chlaymidia, what do u think?

OP posts:
3andnomore · 27/05/2008 16:32

Candida (sad thing is, that that is actually a name...)

Sidge · 27/05/2008 17:01

Clitoris sounds really exotic as well.

But I think a lot of people might not have heard of it.

misdee · 27/05/2008 17:03

i just asked dh his opinion, i think he prefers Frogmella.

belgo · 27/05/2008 17:05
