But I really really dislike the nn Vinnie, would this be enough to stop you using Vincent which I absolutely adore

Vincent.

If you don’t like Vinnie, don’t use Vincent.

I’d choose Frank.

Vincent is a beautiful name. I don't know what's wrong with the other posters! It's gorgeous. Elegant classic.

I like both, really like Vin (but not Vinnie). I’d probably do Frank.

Emanwenym · 19/07/2025 12:00

it's definitely not gorgeous or an elegant classic.

I think it is! 😆

Not fond of either, they both sound like the names of 1960s criminals.

Vinnie will happen if you go with Vincent, in the UK.

Frank is the nn of Francis. I'd go with Francis.
