Need some opinions

Am stuck at home on rainy bank holiday mulling over names and feeling pants so thought would turn to your wisdoms....For a wee lass: Freya (seems v.popular at mo), Poppy or Saffron?
For a lad: Kai, Sam, Roan or....any other suggestions? Feedback welcome. Thanks!!!!

Poppy & Sam very nice. LOVE Rohan, top of my list...........if we have a girl! Not that its not a perfectly good boys name tho, thats how it started out for us.
Kai - don't really like, sorry. Freya is a lovely name, but very common where I live.

All your girls names are loevly.

Sam is is a good name.

Kai, trying too hard and will date quickly imo.

Roan, never come across this, initailly my reaction is the same as too Kai, but this may just be my ignorance.

But there are alot of fellow ignoramouses(??)out ther.

Sam please (but then that is my potential DS name (although with 2 DDs and no inclination to have any more it won't get used)

Like Freya; don't exactly detest the other two, but don't like them either.

I only like Sam out of the boys names.
I quite like Freya but there are a lot about. Poppy is pretty but don't like Saffron.

-Freya (seems v.popular at mo)- not my personal favourite name, I must admit, but yes, seems popular enough...ds's teacher just had a little daughter and called her that!
-Poppy; it's one of those names I just am not sure about, i.e. do I like it or not, lol! I do kinda like it....but...when someone breaks wind in this house we say that someone popped...so...that is why I would NOT choose that name. Friend just had a Babygirl and called her Poppy (she also has a Honey and some Boys, lol)
-Saffron- it's kinda Hippy but I do really like it!
-Kai- not so keen
-Sam- prefer Samual!
-Roan- prefer Rohan or Rowen, tbh, but Roan is o.k.!

My boys are called Sven,Yannic and Flynn!
My all time favourite boys name is Noah, but also like Dominic, Frederic(but not shortened to Fred or Freddy), Shane, Shay,....

I have a Freya so obviously like it, but we gave her that name because we wanted something nordic to reflect her heritage. Does seem to be becoming popular.
Poppy - not sure. Saffron makes me think of Ab Fab (Saffy)
Boys names - like Roan (Rohan) best.

i like freya and roan! dd1 knows a freya and she is lovely pretty little thing!
