Having a last minute wobble..help

Was fairly firm on Naomi. Love the meaning and story. Then DB said no one will know how to say it right. So got to thinking what is the correct pronunciation and it seems everyone disagrees even within my own family. Time to bin and start over? Are the ones you know constantly correcting?

For me it’s one of those names where the variation isn’t that big of a deal. I’d only go with it if you accept people pronounce it slightly differently. You don’t want to choose something that will irritate you. I’ve never met a Naomi who’s complained or brought this issue up.

It’s Nay-oh-me, but if the odd person says Ny-oh-me, you can either ignore them or correct it. I wouldn’t worry about it
