I think motaf*ah is a lovely name

VictorianSqualor · 23/05/2008 16:19

how can we judge when there's stars in it?
Is it
motarefah?
motafknyah?
motafigiah?

NaughtyNigella · 23/05/2008 16:21

how is that pronounced then?
Ock?
or
Och?
or
Ox
loving it by the way. very original and passes the waitrose fishwife test.

StealthPolarBear · 23/05/2008 16:22

VS - maybe the stars are part of it - it's the new thing, apostrophes (Jay'Deeanne) are old-fashioned now

As my dh is Irish, I would go for O'Kaye. Much more celtic!

SylvieBruno · 23/05/2008 21:08

huh? You can't call your children one, two and three, so a little bit of thought needs to go into it.

Not a short stroll from insanity at all. My mother gave naming me about 2 seconds consideration unfortunately

I wanted to do a slightly better job naming my children, for their sakes. Not as a representation of my quirky but classic and slightly bold taste or any nonsense like that......

SylvieBruno · 23/05/2008 21:09

PS, does Lynette say that?!?!?! I have seen her name here often enough! Lynette, we'll have a chat later when we're both queuing up for our anti-psychotic medication.

LynetteScavo · 23/05/2008 21:40

Ha! I thread I'm not on, where people are talking about me!

I think I'm finally "somebody" on MN.
