Hi DH and I are really struggling for names. We have a short list but nothing that we both absolutely love.

Girls names
Rhiannon (no Welsh connection feel like it might be too long)
Alayna
Kate- one syllable surname though
Ellis
Alicia
Eilidh

Boys names
Ruari
Cameron
Brodie
Ben
Lewis

I like kate and Ben best

Have you also considered Eira? she was the Norse Goddess of healing. Admittedly Eira is a much more popular name in Wales than Scotland (due to the fact it also means snow here), but like Freyja it’s a nice international name with strong Scandi links.

Kate and Rhiannon are lovely.

Like all the boys’ names except Brodie.

Eilidh and Freyja are lovely together. I also like Astrid but wasn't sure if it went with your list.

I like Cameron, Ben, Alayna and Kate (I think double single syllables sounds cool btw, James Bond, Mae West ect)

Rhiannon - Ok..I'm in Wales and it is prob more of an older name here
Alayna - Prefer spelt Elena
Kate - An ok name but I feel it will be a bit bland with Freyja
Ellis - I do know both boys and girls with this name but I would think boy in the first instance.
Alicia - This is prob my favourite
Eilidh - Quite like

Ruari - Like
Cameron - Like
Brodie - Like
Ben - I prefer Benjamin with Ben as a nickname
Lewis - Like but see it as more of an older name
