I honestly think if you love a name like Meadow or Blossom then just use it. I’m always amazed by the wonderful array of names the kids my children have grown up with have, and they’re just normal when you know the person even if at first it seems a bit out there. I love Lucy and Rose but Meadow is lovely too. (My boys have very traditional names and I love them but sometimes I wish we’d been a bit braver!)

ItsSoFoggy · 24/05/2025 21:38

I like them in this order:

Lucy
Rose
Keira
Christina

Paljmens · 24/05/2025 21:43

I like Vanessa better.
Melissa?

Of the others Lucy, Kiera, Christina, Rose.

mathanxiety · 24/05/2025 21:50

1 Christina
2 Kiera.
3 Lucy
4 Rose

My choice too.

PurpleReindeer2 · 24/05/2025 21:52

Most- Lucy then Rose. Not keen on the others.

WinterCarlisle · 24/05/2025 21:52

Most: Lucy and Rose (although prefer Rosa)

I don’t like the other two (sorry!) but I prefer Ciara to Kiera.

mathanxiety · 24/05/2025 21:53

I like Vanessa more than the other four. I don't feel it's too glam. Elegant certainly- I'd consider it similar to Eleanor in elegance.

Enko · 24/05/2025 21:57

1 Vanessa .not at all.too glam.imo
2 Rose
3 Kiera
4 Christina

I dislike Lucy i think it is just dull and boring. The other 4 I like.

JaneBerlin · 24/05/2025 22:01

I think it's time for Christina to come back into fashion. It's classic and rather beautiful.

MostlyGhostly · 24/05/2025 22:58

Most to least
Lucy
Christina
Keira
Rose

AnneMarieW · 24/05/2025 23:39

In order for me:

Rose - a classic, one of the more timeless names plus it’s pretty, simple and romantic.
Christina - a classic, albeit one that dips in and out of fashion but has more nickname choice than Rose which may be a bonus (I especially like Kit).
Kiera - don’t like or dislike, maybe a bit blah and 80’s/early 90’s for me.
Lucy - a classic but one I have a dislike of. All I can hear is the word “loose” combined with the cutesy “ee” ending, sorry.

DiscoBeat · 24/05/2025 23:44

Lucy
Rose
Keira
Christina (I'm not religious so it wouldn't be on my list at all)

Eggybreadwithnuts · 24/05/2025 23:46

🌸Love Rose
😕Dislike Kiera

MagicTape · 24/05/2025 23:51

Of your list I would have

Lucy
Rose
Keira
Christina

Only because Christina's going to get shortened to Chris or Tina and both sound quite old fashioned.

But I LOVE the name Clementine or Clemency and if we'd had a second would have used it (not harmed by knowing a Clemency of my own age who is just wonderful).

Lucy Clementine would be a lovely combination.

strawlight · 24/05/2025 23:53

How about Lucia or Rosa as first names:

Lucia Rose
Rosa Lucy
Rosa Christina

Not keen on Keira

Jamclag · 25/05/2025 00:12

All great names.
Rose - lovely, timeless, not too popular as a first name.
Lucy - again fairly timeless but consistently popular.
Christina - feels quite fresh to me, bit of a 50s revival maybe. Christy is a sweet diminutive.
Keira - nice - I prefer Ciara but would probably only use this spelling if there's some Irish heritage.

Calliopespa · 25/05/2025 00:22

ninjahamster · 24/05/2025 19:01

Lucy
rose
keira
christina

Same order as me.

Very much like Lucy and Rose.

Keira is ok.

Really not fond of Christina. It’s a middle aged lady’s name to me.

Oh … I think you just ruined Loosey for me. 😕
