Don't like any of your dh's choices.

I adore Sid! What about Seth?

I like Arthur and austin and love Dominic!

pinklemonstoo · 20/05/2008 19:13

prefer your list to your dh's tbh. I like Charlie and Jack. And Bradley is ok.

itsahardknocklife · 20/05/2008 19:15

Arthur is good. We have that on our list if we have another son.
I think AShton might also be a girls name.
Preston is that idiot that was on Celebrity Big Bro the other year, the singer from The Ordinary Boys, and Bradley makes me think of that ginger geek from Eastenders. I really don't like Brody, but Mason is a good, strong name, so good if you have stocky genes in your family I reckon!

dh's names crap apart from dominic, which one of you can't spell

I like Arthur, Charlie and Sid.

But you should call him Stanley.

Report
Hulababy · 20/05/2008 19:21

From your list I like Arthur, Charlie (although I personally would name Charles and use Charlie informally) and Jack.

Not keen on any from DH's list.

Report
frazzledbutcalm · 20/05/2008 19:24

I imagine you can spell dominic both ways, most names can be spelt lots of ways. Stanley's nice, Dd has 1 in her class

I'm with Hulababy all the way on this one

Your husband's choices are a bit chav.

I prefer yours with the exception of Austin an Ashton.

Hulababy read my mind.

Charlie and Jack get my vote. Austin is awful sorry, as is Ashton. Your husband's choices are baaaaaaad, sorry.

I think Mason is the best name of them all, as its different in my opinion xx

Ha ha wt. I see a forked tongue and a trident.

I tried to get somebody to call their child Victor a while ago. Nobody would listen to me.

Can you add Victor to your list of names OP? I love it so much. It's the new Oscar.

Hang on a minute!!!! How come everyone is saying Mason is nice now. Last time I read that name on here it was being slated....ooohhhhh you're all soooooo fickle!

I don't like Preston, was stranded at Preston Railway station for 8 hours years ago and still haven't recovered so I am biased I guess.

Favourites from your lists are
Charlie and Mason. With the others I think you'd need to see your DS before knowing it was right for them (no idea why I think that though )

kitsmummy · 20/05/2008 21:43

I'll buck the trend. I hate Mason, it's bloody awful, the ultimate chav. I like Charlie and Arthur though.

8 hours at Preston Railway Station. Wow. That sounds like a b horror movie.

I would go for Jason over Mason. Jason at least has a bit of augernaut (sp?) about it. Mason is a bit

But obviously the best choice would be Dominic.

lovebeingmummy · 20/05/2008 21:45

Dominic reminds me of domino's, i cant bare it!! Sorry xx

Report
Vivace · 20/05/2008 21:46

Dominic from your husband's list, Arthur from yours. The rest of his choices are a bit rough.
Really, it isn't spelled Domonic. Never has been, never should be. It looks like Demonic, which you really don't want.

DO NOT LET DH HAVE THE FINAL DECISION

Report
AbbeyA · 20/05/2008 21:48

I only like Jack. Charlie is OK.
Don't like DHs at all. I have never thought of Preston as being a very attractive place to be named after.

Report
LissyD · 20/05/2008 21:54

Whats wrong with Preston? It's an ace place! Place names aren't the best for childrens names though, a bit chavvy.
