No I won't actually list any as some poor MNer may be mightily offended that her little princess is completely happy with her name.

There is a lot of oddness surrounding names atm.

I used to see people suggesting lists like

Thea
Kate
Martha

Now it's all

Vestibule
Atrium
Foyer
Undulate
Candida

I love unusual names, but it's getting silly now.

Desist.

And no Desist isn't a name suggestion either.

(I am pleased to say that two of the names in the first list are my middle names!)

MascaraOHara · 20/05/2008 16:54

what about Lobby for a boy ?

MascaraOHara · 20/05/2008 16:56

I always liked Labia though.

ShowOfHands · 20/05/2008 16:57

Yes beautiful suggestions. May I add middle names:

Lobby Iron
Labia Plethora

Although I think a better spelling is Laybeeya.

MargaretMountford · 20/05/2008 16:58

L'abia surely ?

BlueDragonfly · 20/05/2008 16:58

So i can't name any futures daughters Fanny Jo then?

EachPeachPearMum · 20/05/2008 16:58

I'm having a Foyer- its classy if you pronounce it the french way - 'Fwayay' doncha know?

ShowOfHands · 20/05/2008 16:59

Fanny Jo is fabulous if you drink lashings of ginger beer and go on larks.

I've been toying with spelling it 'laybeeah'. I like 'Rectam' for a boy too.

itsahardknocklife · 20/05/2008 17:01

La-beeya.

MascaraOHara · 20/05/2008 17:01

fanny-jo-jules is nice

LilRedWG · 20/05/2008 17:01

Would you have L'abia Majora for the first DD and L'abia Minora for DD2?

MascaraOHara · 20/05/2008 17:03

oh very good choice LilRed

or even l'abia-MajorCa and l'abia-MinorCa

CombustibleLemon · 20/05/2008 17:04

Phew, so Mezzanine's still ok then?

itsahardknocklife · 20/05/2008 17:04

and Fellatio for a boy?

MascaraOHara · 20/05/2008 17:06

mezzannine is fine as is
balconay
bayonette
and
Soya

ShowOfHands · 20/05/2008 17:07

Oh yes, loving l'abia-MajorCa and her sister. Partners in a law firm I think.

i always chip in at this point with the true story of when i was paying for petrol in the local garage and a 2 year old girl was called over by her mum with 'ho! \Clitoris! get over here now!'

Moomin · 20/05/2008 19:19

I've always liked
Fadjiiina (Fadge for short) or Myngefalaps

ButterflyBessie · 20/05/2008 19:24

Personally, if I ever have any more children I do hereby swear that my next born will be called Kennedi Sante Bernard Prissybottom, and no one can persuade me otherwise

Quattrocento · 20/05/2008 19:34

You do realise that I'n intending to call my next son Laybia. My next daughter will be called Tesstickles

Quattrocento · 20/05/2008 19:36

but I'm planning to change the spelling to it's phonetic equivalent while they're young
