Baby brother for Amelie

Have a DD called Amelie and am expecting a baby boy in August but we are struggling to choose a name for him. I know there is plenty of time but with DD I was set on her name from the very beginning!

Our top contender at the moment is Rory, we did also like Rowan, Kit and Reuben but have gone off all of those slightly! Does anyone have any suggestions of what we might like that goes nicely with Amelie?

Why does it have to go with Amelie? Why can he not be his own person? Children are not accessorized items!
I am flabbergasted by the way people choose their children's names these days.

Yes, why does his name have to ‘go’ with his sister’s name? They’re two individuals who will spend most of their time living apart.

Rory can be tricky to prouder people who struggle with their Rs

I get what you mean about them going together OP

if someone had a kid called Phoenix and then another called Emily. Or Skye and Thomas. It’s just a bit of two different genres

I'm sure what people mean by go with a sibling name, is it gives an indication of their style. They've obviously picked that name so generally other names they'd like would be similar. I personally would also avoid the same initials for siblings, or names that sound too alike, because I found it annoying growing up so it can help to know.

Rory is very nice. How about Finley, Ellis, Jude, Callum, Miles, Ezra, Douglas, Malcolm, Isaac, Lewis, Otis

Is there a reason you chose a French name for DD? How about Fabien?

Amelie and Rory is a bit 'ee' heavy when said together. I think Rowan and Reuben go better. I do like Kit, but a longer name with more syllables probably sounds better with Amelie

Really like Rowan and Reuben. Not keen on Rory.
