ive met 2 Malachis and bother were a little deranged..

Jasper would be my preference. I would not want a boy called Val or Valey (which is what would happen), I have met too many poorly behaved Malachis to choose this and Cosmos have hippy parents with undiagnosed ADHD. Artis is just crying out for a t on the end.

Malachi. Don't know why Jasper has become so popular lately - used to be either a wasp or a pantomime villain.

Valentine and Cosmo are a bit OTT. Never heard of Artis so I can't really comment.

Jasper is my favourite but yes, in some areas it means wasp.
Cosmo is ok but definitely not Kosmo.

If I’m completely honest, I don’t hugely like any of them. If it has to be from that list then Jasper or Malachi, but Jasper is a dogs name to me (I know several) and Malachi is very popular where I live in the way that Jayden was for a while.

Jasper is borderline acceptable. The other 4 are atrocious and I can’t believe anyone would consider them.

I don’t like the Mal in Malachi. It sounds ‘bad’, being the Latin for evil/bad. Reminds me of malevolent or malicious.
