Thanks everyone! I think Ellis is the front runner, then Aidan. I like Rhys but DH isn’t quite as keen. Same with Aidan, DH likes that more than me. Alfie was a bit of a wild card but I think we may discount it

Ellis is my favourite. Aiden is quite nice too.

I don't mind Rhys but unless you're in Wales will probably get spelled Reece by everyone. Not keen on Alfie. I don't really like the nickname as first name thing and I come across quite a few Alfies as various toddler groups.

I like all of them except Alfie. That's only because it's incredibly popular, and by coincidence is the name of the worst behaved boys where I teach, so I tend to associate it with them!
Go for it if you like it, though.
Aidan and Ellis are my preference..

Aiden or Ellis are nice. I'd go for Aiden Joshua

I absolutely love Ellis. It’s my DS’s middle name and after we used it I worried I’d regret not saving it for a potential second boy. Luckily our 2nd and last was a girl!

Ellis is lovely. Aiden is a good solid name. Rhys I love the sound of but he will get a lot of Reece's spelling in his life which could be annoying. Alfie I'm not keen... I think of it as quite a naughty kid sort of name and I'm not sure how well it works on a full grown man.

What about Joshua Ellis.

I like Aidan out of your list, and both your middle names are lovely too.

A lot of people have said this about Alfie! We have discounted it now I think. Rhys I think you’re right about the spelling.

Yeah pretty sure it’s our frontrunner! Although DH likes Aidan/Aiden - I don’t like it so much when said in my accent though!

I would pick Ellis, Ellis Joshua is lovely.

I do like Aiden but can't picture it on a baby, same with Rhys. Alfie is very popular and I prefer a longer given name.
