Lana backwards puts me off but otherwise a lovely name.

Either Rose or Amber and definitely not Lana due to kids, at some point, spell each other’s names backwards and it’s Spanish meaning!

Lana and Rose are OK. Amber is chavvy.

My niece is called Lana Rose, and only ever has compliments on her name. She’s just turned 11 and never once had the lana spelled backwards issue, it has never occurred to any of our family either and not been mentioned once at school thankfully. I’m biased but that’s my fav, followed by Amber. I prefer Rosie, Rosalie or Rosabella to Rose

Rose comes across as very fusty to me.

Amber is a name I associate with names like Heather and Samantha - a bit dated and dowdy.

YYY to Amber, Tiffany, Brittany, Crystal...

Rose but would go for Roseanna as the full name.

I do like Lana, but there is the unfortunate backwards spelling thing ('anal') which nasty teenagers may well pick upon. What about Lara?
Rose is nice enough, but a bit ubiquitous in recent years, Rosa would be a bit more unusual.

What would you think about Lara or Rosa as alternatives?

Amber. Lana is ok but the backwards spelling is so unfortunate. Rose is ok but dull.

Lana and Rose are both lovely. I don’t like Amber sorry. Stripper name.
