It’s a lovely name and my mind goes to boy first rather than girl. You should use it :)

FWIW I would have no preconceptions about the gender of a Casey if I heard the name and didn't know the spelling. Written down I'd assume a boy for Casey and a girl for Kacey (and variables eg Kaycee). So if you love the name, I wouldn't let that put you off!

Corey was the first that came to mind.

But I also wouldn't assume Casey was a girl if asked. Ive only known one and he is male, so I think that's where my first thought would go.
