As a nickname would you assume girl or boy?
I would not register as Frankie fwiw

If child/older I would assume girl. If toddler/young child I would assume boy (in line with the trend for Alfie/Stanley type names).

I love it though, and wouldn’t be surprised either way.

Frankie is one of the few genuinely unisex names to me - I think I’d slightly lean towards girl but wouldn’t assume so at all.

Definitely a boy.
But I work with the elderly, so have a lot of male Frankie's which is influencing my opinion

I know two Frankie's, one is a girl and the other a boy. In all honesty it's a name I'd associate with Frank, so a boy's name but I have heard Frankie as a nickname for Francesca too.
